The Best Concert Venues While Stoned

We sure love our concerts in Colorado and we have so many great venues in the state to enjoy them at. Pepsi Center, 1st Bank Center and the smaller Ogden Theater are just to name a few. But the outdoor venues are extra special in the awesome Colorado summers. And indulging in your favorite cannabis strains or sweet edibles before you go will enhance your Colorado outdoor experience. Here are some of the best  concert venues while stoned.

  1. Red Rocks Amphitheater

No surprise that Red Rocks Amphitheater is first on the list. You haven’t seen a concert in Colorado until you have experienced live music at this one of a kind venue, especially while stoned. The naturally-occurring rock formations create an acoustically perfect atmosphere with jaw-dropping scenery. This year marks Red Rocks 75th anniversary of stage rocking performances by awesome musicians.

  1. The Fred Shellman Memorial Stage, Telluride Town Park

The Fred Shellman Memorial Stage in Telluride Town Park is one not to miss. Nestled in the heart of Telluride, this venue is surrounded by the incredible peaks of the 14,000 foot mountains. The view continues no matter which way you turn. It is 360 degrees of mountain views like no other. Annual festivals are held here and they tend to sell out quickly. This venue even allows camping just outside the park and has breathtaking hikes nearby making it super easy to want to travel to Telluride for one of your favorite music festivals.

  1. Dillon Amphitheatre, Lake Dillon

Lake Dillion is a huge reservoir that is surrounded by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne and Dillon. Lake Dillon is also close to popular ski resorts Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain who also host some great summertime events. Live music at the Dillon Amphitheater with stunning Lake Dillon and large mountain peaks as the backdrop is a great way to experience a summertime high.

  1. Benedict Music Tent, Aspen

While not technically outside, the Benedict Music Tent in Aspen is definitely one to put on your list. The scenery in Aspen is unforgettable and beautiful, especially while high. The side walls of the tent open to accommodate larger audiences, allowing people to sit outside. The open air tent itself looks much like the canopies at Denver International Airport and creates high quality acoustics as the sound bounces off of the canopy. The Benedict Music Tent hosts a wide range of events. From performances from students to highly coveted jazz festivals, the Benedict Music Tent provides a unique Colorado music experience.

  1. Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Vail

While you are in Vail this summer, be sure to check out the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. You won’t be disappointed by the views as you look out over the Vail Valley. The amphitheater offers stadium-styles seating and an area for concert-goers to enjoy the show from the grassy sloped lawn. Here you can sit back and listen to talented musicians perform on clear nights while taking in the impressive star show in the sky above. The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is among the best concert venues while stoned.
